Warm Hearts of Douglas County has been serving the community for more than 35 years. It is made up of 12 volunteers who donate their time, talents, and expertise to make what we do possible!
In December each year, an annual campaign for donations is conducted and all donations are used to assist those households in need of assistance in paying winter heating bills. Warm Hearts has always relied on the kindness and generosity of people like you to make tax-deductible donations to help others in need each winter.
All donations received and matched by Black Hills Energy go out to the families who are in need. Our expenses have been covered through grants and our entire team works on a purely volunteer basis.
By partnering with Black Hills Energy, we are able to keep furnaces on and running throughout winter.
We strive to bring financial aid to those who need it in order to keep their homes warm in the cold.
We hope to see a future where communities rally together, where young and old alike are cared for and loved, where the essentials of life are a given.
